Yellowstone

Sorry I haven't been posting for a while, I have just been so busy lately and haven't really remembered. So I just decided to do a post on the last couple of weeks of school.

Well near the beginning of school, we were given the opportunity to pay about $200 to go to Yellowstone for a couple of days with the school. Both of my brothers went on the trip when they were in 8th grade and I decided that I really wanted to go. So during the year we had to make payments so that we could go. If you missed a payment then you couldn't go. So when the day finally came, my friends and I were really excited to go and have a good time. We got to ride in the commercial buses so it wasn't so bad. When we got there we put our stuff in the hotel and went down so we could go to the grizzly discovery center. The people there help bears and wolfs that can't go back into the wild.



I had a good time and after that we went and saw a 3d movie. It was really cool. Then we had free time to go and buy some dinner.

The next day we went to a really cool waterfall in Yellowstone.

It was a nice 8 mile hike and really enjoyable.

Then we went to this cool musime it talked all about Yellowstone.

Then the next day we went and saw old Faithful erupt. That was cool.

After that we headed home.

The wonderful world of duct tape

The past few weeks i have been working on some duct tape items. I figured out by myself how to make duct tape hats. Here is a picture of them. I made one for Abbie and they look cool. Mine is the one on the right and Abbie's is on the left.

Job shadow day

I haven't done a post for a long time but I think this one will be really good.

On Friday the 13th it was a job shadow day for my school. I went to the vet office and they let me do a couple of things. First they gave me a tour of the place and I got to see all the animals that were in the back and what was wrong with them or if they just needed help or was just found on the street. This is a picture of a dog that was found on the side of the street.

I felt bad for this dog because it was very sad and whining.

This dog was having a needle put into his leg because it was being prepared for getting neutered.

In this photo they were putting a air tube down it's throat.

This is a picture of all the equipment in the operating room , they showed me what they all do and cool stuff like that.

I didn't take any pictures of the operation because wall, you know why.

This dog was pregnant and you can see the three babies in her stomach.

This dog ate staples. that would really hurt.

This dog jumped in front of a shot gun and got shot.

Overall I had a great day and it was fun to do.

Halloween!

Sorry I haven't made a new post in a while. I haven't had time to.

Today I didn't have school because it is a teacher work day. It is nice to have a day off from getting up at 6:15 in the morning. I went to the store and got some spider webs. I put them all over our decorations.

Duct Tape Wallets

In the past few days I've had an interest in making duct tape wallets. They are really easy to make and are sweet to use. I have made a couple of them and you can make them what ever color you want.

Here is a picture of some I have made.

There is a pocket for money and one for cards and stuff like that.

Today I had to go and get my Hep. A shot. It hurt a little becaus the lady that was doing it threw it into my arm. It realy sucks when you have to get SHOTS!
